Mass brawl of elite teams in Russia. The referee handed out six red cards

It started innocently enough. In the set time, visiting forward Quincy Promes and home striker Wilmar Barrios wanted to say something to each other. However, the striker, who played for Ajax or Sevilla, was suddenly accompanied by two other domestic players, and the referee began to sense that something bigger was about to happen.

He tried to separate the two main actors from each other, but at that moment more and more players started to join the conflict, including substitutes from the benches. Some rushed to the scene of the incident in such a way that they had trouble staying on their feet, one of the players even slipped.

Fists and kicks flew through the air, several groups formed on the field, which some members of the implementation teams also tried to control, as the incident moved to the sideline. However, others joined the fray with gusto and dealt a few blows as well.

There was hardly anyone on the field who did not join in the fight. In the course of it, the referee was already trying to award the first penalties. The home team Rodrigo was the first to see the red card, eventually three on each side. Barrios and former Barcelona player Malcolm were also excluded.

It should be noted that the judge apparently had no idea where his head was and identifying the sinners in such a fight is not exactly easy. The match was finally finished and Zenit won on penalties 4:2.
