JUDO – The “Hunger” for medals never switches to Judo Club Koizumi Scicli.
Continue to conquer more. The latest is from argento and is worn around the neck by the 14-year-old judoka, Michelangelo Arrabito. He received it on the podium of Italian beginners championship Bdisputed a Lido di OstiaRoma.
Among the best in Italy in its category (60 kg). A prestigious result for the very young Arrabito, after having faced “and long path, full of sacrifices, from give up e you difficult timeswhich, however – comments the Sciclitan society – he was the protagonist in various competitions, up to the final final”.
Arrabito got to play for gold afterwards having won four fights, all for ippon.
At the Italian championship the Judo Club Koizumi Scicli was present with two other athletes, Leonardo Portelli (cat. 46 kg) and Angelo Gulino (cat. 55 kg).
Doorsalso very young, despite being atdebut in a manifestation of such prestigemakes one beautiful figure: wins three out of five matchesplacing himself at seventh placebut with the awareness of being able to reach the podium.
Less fortunate the race of Gulino who, after winning the first match, loses the second, without the possibility of repechage.
