The incident occurred when Hamilton was in action at the 2022 Brazilian GP Formula One (F1) race which was held at the Interlagos Circuit, on Monday (14/11/2022) in the morning WIB.

For those who don’t know, a series of incidents colored the course of the 2022 F1 Brazilian Grand Prix. The first incident involved Haas racer Kevin Magnussen and McLaren driver Daniel Ricciardo.

Then Hamilton was also involved in a collision with his rival from Red Bull Racing, Verstappen. Shortly after the collision, Hamilton went berserk and blamed Verstappen.

“He didn’t give me space. Where do they expect me to go? But it doesn’t matter,” Hamilton said on the team radio voice, reported by Crash, Monday (11/14/2022).

However, after the race Hamilton actually felt sorry for being involved in the incident. According to him, the incident with Verstappen could be detrimental to the team.

“There isn’t much to say about that. When the cars touch, I believe, it’s over. I thought: ‘Shit! I’m hurting the team!” said Hamilton reported by Speedweek, Monday (14/11/2022).

“Then I immediately went into rescue mode, what can I still get out of this?” he continued.
