Iker Vicente is the new champion of the Izar Berriak tournament (for under 25s), played on Tuesday in Urnieta. The one from Otsagabia, who started as the favorite to be the champion, had to work hard to come back in the final test and beat ‘Basozabal’. The man from San Sebastian got off to a better start than the other three finalists (Larrea and Ezpeleta) cutting a 45-inch log in forty-four seconds. The next one, 65 inches, was cut at the same time as Vicente and both reached the last test with ten seconds of difference. The Navarrese came back and put on his txapela.
