Gutkovskis has extended the contract with the Polish leadership team “Rakow” until 2025

The contract also has an option to extend it for two more seasons. The previous contract was valid until the end of the 2023/2024 season.

The 27-year-old Gutkovskis joined “Rakow” before the start of the 2020/2021 season and during this time scored 31 goals in 99 matches, including four in one half in the duel held last week. This season, he scored six goals – five in the Ekstraklasa and one in the UEFA Conference League.

The Latvian striker has helped the Częstochowa team win the Polish Cup twice, become the Polish vice-champion and win the Polish Super Cup. In the 2022/2023 season, “Rakow” is the leader of the extra class after 16 games.

Before that, Gutkovskis played for “Termalica” from Nidzica since 2016, playing in the first three out of five seasons in the Ekstraklasa, and the next two – in the second league of Poland.

Before that, he played in the Latvian club Riga “Skonto”, in 2014, with 28 accurate shots, becoming the top scorer in the Premier League.

The football player has played in 39 games and scored 11 goals in the ranks of the Latvian national team.
