1st attack of arrogance by Neymar!
Top favorites Brazil arrived in Qatar late on Saturday evening. The record world champion lives in the plush hotel The Westin Spa and was euphorically celebrated by around 400 fans upon arrival. The South Americans are dreaming of their sixth world title – which superstar Neymar (30) has already awarded to the Selecao before the tournament begins.

On the flight from the training camp in Turin (Italy) to the desert state, Neymar wore short blue sports pants (see photo). The coat of arms of the Brazilian federation CBF can be seen on the , underneath it says Brasil in yellow letters.

Normally five stars are embroidered on the jerseys or sports shorts. They stand for the country’s five World Cup triumphs: 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002. However, there is a sixth star on Neymar’s shorts, which he appears to have added digitally. After arriving, he chanted: “The last will be the first…”

Brazil will only enter the World Cup on Thursday evening with the game against Serbia. The goal: winning the sixth star. A triumph is especially important for Neymar. Because only as a world champion will he go down in Brazilian football history as a hero.
The tournament in Qatar is Neymar’s third World Cup after 2014 and 2018 – and probably the last chance. Because in a DAZN documentary he announced his withdrawal from the Selecao in 2021: “I think this will be my last World Cup.”
