Sven Ulreich is open to a contract extension at Bayern Munich. Manuel Neuer’s representative says on ‘Sport1’: “As for what the future holds, it’s still early days. It’s October now. But I think we’ll find a solution.” Ulreich’s contract in Munich expires next summer.

The 34-year-old switched from Hamburger SV to Bayern for the 2021/22 season, and he had already provided backup for Neuer from 2015 to 2020. Ulreich adds to ‘Sky’: “I’ve always said that I’m having fun and enjoying being here, that I enjoy being here in the club.” The goalkeeper can “imagine staying here” and to add another season in the Bayern jersey.
