End of story for Radja Nainggolan at Antwerp: “Club will cooperate with possible transfer” | Jupiler Pro League

Last season Radja Nainggolan was brought through the big gate to Antwerp. Chairman Paul Gheysens proudly showed off the arrival of the former Red Devil.

But after a year and a half, the relationship between the chairman and his stunt transfer is completely clouded.

Nainggolan was therefore noticed more off than on the field this season. In October, he was caught by the police driving without a license. Then an e-cigarette on the couch put him in narrow shoes.

“There is so much unrest around him. Would I do the transfer again? Of course not”, Gheysens sighed last week.

It therefore comes as no surprise that Antwerp is saying goodbye to Nainggolan today. The statement on the club’s website is clear: “After a conversation, it has been decided not to include Radja in the A-team again. The club will cooperate with a possible transfer..”
