Completely addicted, a player from Wisconsin rewarded for an incredible achievement!

At 31, Nolen Krentz has not yet entered the Guinness Book of Records but no offense to the work, his astonishing performance earned him a plaque in his honor at his Wisconsin club!

In 2021, Nolen Krentz played 17,820 holes. Yes, you read that right ! On average, that’s 48 holes a day for this amateur player from Wisconsin.

It was well worth a reward, even if the Guinness book des records did not validate the feat since in the regulations, it is specified that it is necessary to keep a diary and have a witness. But obviously, no one was able to accompany him throughout the year!

So he posed with Rob Jansenthe director of the Wisconsin State Golf Associationbut once the little ceremony was over, he hurried to get back to his van and take out his clubs to go play!

65 kilometers in one day!

Krentz achieved this feat by pushing his cart through an area where the weather is generally not good for golf for nearly half the year.

To achieve this astounding average, Krentz travels to his nine-hole course at Norwegian Golf Club at sunrise before going to work in a grocery store or to exercise his role as a golf and basketball coach for young people in schools.

His one-day record is 144 holes, which equates to around 65 kilometres!

It is important to specify that Krentz is a very good player. He has an index close to 0, and his best score on the nine holes, par 36, is 30!

Still just as hooked, he plans to beat his record in the future and cross the bar of 18,000 annual holes!

“Let’s hope Mother Nature cooperates. Three years ago we had snow on the ground on Halloween. We never know “, he explains.
