at the TCO high school, physical education meets archery

A perfectly successful experience, thanks to the precious collaboration offered by the Arcieri Group of Grottazzolina, whose Compagnia Arcieri di Azzolino, established in 2001, has become the spearhead of the FITAST championship involving central Italy. Numerous team podiums in the different divisions of Arco Foggia Storica (bow made of wood, resins, fiberglass and rope in synthetic materials, but without arrow rest) and Arco Traditional (composed of the same materials with the addition of carbon and with admitted the arrow rest). The Company also boasts numerous individual podiums: among the main protagonists are Luigi Margio, Fanny Viti and Martino Ubaldi, each for their own category.

The three, together with Giada Traini, Erika Pomili, Grazia Pacioni, Cristina Deaconeasa, Deborah Moroni, Daniela Donzelli and the winger Luca Perticarari, contributed to the realization of the project with the TCO which aims to give the shooting discipline with arc a sporting and athletic value, where physical preparation has a relative weight and, necessarily, must be supported by conscious breathing, but above all by concentration and self-control.

“These are all necessary elements to set up a shooting technique consisting of basic general rules, but aimed at respecting the physicality and predisposition of each one – underlines Professor Monica Vallesi -. The archers are committed to interest the classes by diversifying training and meetings, each time giving the opportunity to each student to verify learning. A truly unique experience, welcomed and guided by the professionalism of the archers and assisted by the teachers of Motor Sciences who participated with enthusiasm equal to that of the students, in the proposed activities “.
