Anadolu Efes announced that it has recently transferred 28-year-old American playmaker Isaiah Taylor, who plays for UCAM Murcia, one of the Spanish League teams.
In Anadolu Efes’ statement, “The contract with American player Isaiah Shaquille Taylor was signed until the end of the 2022-2023 season. The player, born in 1994, is 1.90 meters tall and serves in the guard position.” it was said.

Isaiah Taylor, who graduated from the University of Texas in 2016, played for the Houston Rockets, one of the NBA teams, in the 2016 Summer League and signed his first contract with the Rockets. After playing in three friendly games in Houston, he moved to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers from the NBDL teams. Returning to the Houston team in 2017, Taylor then made his way to another NBA team, the Atlanta Hawks. The American player transferred to his old team Rio Grande Valley Vipers again in the 2019-20 season. Transferring to Israel’s Maccabi Rishon Lezion team for his first overseas experience in the 2020-21 season, Taylor started wearing the jersey of Spain’s Ucam Murcia team in February 2021.
Picked in the Big 12 Conference top five in 2016, Taylor was named the NBDL’s top rookie one season later. The successful player made his mark in the second best five of the season with the Ucam Murcia jersey in 2022.
Taylor, who played 34 games for Ucam Murcia in the ACB League last season, averaged 15.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
