Midfielder Alexánder Mejía broke the silence regarding the non-renewal of his contract with Atlético Nacional and did so through an emotional message on his Instagram account.

In the text, Mejía expressed his feelings about having to leave the green club. In addition, he thanked those who made his return possible and highlighted having once again achieved a League title.

The 34-year-old midfielder assured that football does not end with this decision and thanked the fans who always came to support him at the Atanasio Girardot stadium. “This does not end here.
