After the seventh Euroleague defeat in a row, Alba is stuck in the table basement. The best Berlin throwers were Maodo Lo and Jaleen Smith with twelve points each.

Despite the losing streak, Alba started out very confident and focused. The guests were particularly attentive when it came to defensive work and hardly allowed the Greek masters to develop. Towards the end of the first quarter, the guests were even able to pull away slightly to 19:13.

Piraeus always has an answer

Especially under the basket, Alba worked very well and was able to collect important balls. However, as in previous games, the German champions found it very difficult to attack. Especially the long-distance throws didn’t fall. But simple layups were also awarded.

After the change of sides, the hosts threatened to pull away, Alba fought and equalized again at the beginning of the last quarter to 61:61. But Piraeus always had an answer and was able to pull away decisively to 80:72 just three minutes before the end.
