“AC Milan forgets Ziyech and reports to Ajax”

In recent weeks, Ajax has instructed the scouts to search for a new right winger in South America. However, the top candidate is the same as last summer: Hakim Ziyech should come back to Ajax. For competitor AC Milan, which Ziyech has been targeting for some time, there may be an alternative from Ajax.

Italian media write that the Milanese do not only have Hakim Ziyech high on their wish list. The Moroccan attacking midfielder had little time to play under Thomas Tuchel, but with Graham Potter there is even less perspective for the former attacking midfielder of sc Heerenveen, FC Twente and Ajax.

AC Milan’s policymakers have been investigating whether a transfer is possible for a while. In the summer it was first reported that Ziyech could leave for a bargain price of about ten million euros. When Ajax opened negotiations with Chelsea on the final day of the Dutch transfer market, it was forty million euros.

In any case, AC Milan does not seem to be surprised by the arrival of Ziyech. The Moroccan attacking midfielder therefore seems to be able to schedule talks with Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder again, although his arrival may well be related to the departure of Mohammed Kudus.

The Ghanaian attacking midfielder was already linked with a departure in the summer. Much to the dissatisfaction of Kudus himself, Ajax lay down for a transfer to Everton. There may be room for negotiations during the winter break.
