The Limburg youngsters won 2-4 against their peers from Slavia Prague. In mid-September, Genk, the Belgian champion, had lost the first leg 1-2 to the Czechs. Genk fell behind twice, but fought back via Mika Godts and Sekou Diawara. In the final phase, the visitors scored two more times, via Godts (80.) and Faissal Al Mazyani (90.+4) again. Genk will play in the second round (on October 26 and November 2) against the Northern Irish Coleraine, which knocked out the North Macedonian Pobeda. The 8 winners of the second round will end up with the runners-ups of the Champions League Path in the jump-offs. In it, Club NXT defends the Belgian colors. The Blue-Black U19 is currently third in their group with 3 out of 9 behind Atletico Madrid (9) and Porto (6). The group winner goes directly to the 1/8th finals. .

The youngsters of Blauw-Zwart lost 1-3 in Roeselare against their Spanish peers. Atletico came in front via Niño Heredia (12′) and deepened the gap after hits from Sergio Diez (49′) and Aitor Gismera (60′). The visitors had to continue with one man less in the 64th minute after a second yellow card for Boñar. Club couldn’t really take advantage and lost Romeo Vermant himself in the 84th minute with two yellow cards. Substitute Laurens Goemare (90.) scored the 1-3 final score with a header in the final minute. Halfway through, Club is in third place with three points, behind Atlético (9 points) and Porto (6 points) but ahead of Leverkusen without a score. On match day four, the trip to Madrid awaits next Wednesday (October 12). .
