Victor Wembanyama selected by Vincent Collet

Victor Wembanyama soon in the jersey of the French team? The pivot of Boulogne-Levallois, who is so much talked about across the Atlantic at the moment, is part of the selection announced by the staff of Vincent Collet. After his missed meeting at the last Euro, the giant could thus be in uniform against Lithuania and Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup.

The French coach has drawn up a list of twelve players including Andrew Albicy and Terrence Tarpey, silver medalists at the European championship in September. Nando de Colo, Guerschon Yabusele, Vincent Poirier or Moustapha Fall are not on this list which includes two training partners.

Lithuania in the lead

During this window, France will train for three days at the Palais des Sports in Nanterre before flying to Lithuania on Thursday 10 November. She will face at Panevezys, Friday November 11 at 7:30 p.m., the Lithuanians, first in the group (7v-1d).

Currently second in their group with six wins in eight games, the Blues will join Pau the next day to face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday November 14 at 8:30 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast live on France 4 and BeIN Sport.
