Valencia BC, Joventut de Badalona and Básquet Girona UNI Laia Palau will compete together with CB Genovés in the II Genovés National Cadet Women’s Basketball Tournamentwhich will take place at the end of November, from 25 to 27, at the Paco Cabanes del Genovés sports center. The tournament has a equality perspective clear, a sporting event that reaffirms the idea of ​​basketball for all. From the organizing club they affirm that “we present a poster in this second edition of the women’s tournament that aims to be a benchmark of training basketball in our counties. A tournament that is presented with a lot of effort and work and that is once again a reality”. CB Genovés highlights the potential of sport to transmit values, “basketball has a lot of power to educate and help make a better society. And this tournament is a new test, a quality, feminist tournament that seeks equality in sport and that wants to show that it is possible to bring together many aspects through basketball. This way of understanding sport is a real space for social transformation”, says Joan Moscardó, the coach who will lead the CB Genovés women’s team.

The II Genovés National Cadet Women’s Basketball Tournament will feature four teams that represent the brand of tournaments in the town of La Costera. Teams such as València BC and Joventut are regulars at the tournaments organized by the club, the male cadet and alevín, which have already held 18 editions, and the female, which celebrates its second edition. The tournament will be played on November 25, 26 and 27. The first two days will see the clashes of the four teams against each other, all against all; and on Sunday the final phase will be played, with the match for third and fourth place and the final to decide the champions. The tournament poster has been designed by Sandra Garcia.
