The “Italy Abruzzo 2022 Judo Trophy” was held in Pescara on Saturday and Sunday, reserved for the male and female Beginners B categories, a race valid for the National Ranking List.
On Saturday the men’s categories competed, while on Sunday the women’s categories competed, including an athlete of the Judo Olimpic Asti asd the Asti-born Ginevra Aloise who finished in 3rd place.
Excellent performance of the judoka who clearly won three of the four matches played, losing only in the quarter measure for SHIDO (penalty) with the number one in the ranking. The first fight was clearly won with a double Waza-Ari, in the second fight, as mentioned, she was lost by measure due to penalties, she was fished out and won for Shido and entered the final. Finalina 3rd-5th place that won for Waza-Ari after a hard-fought match.
Aloise Ginevra with the podium confirms herself at the top of her category in view of the Finals of the Italian Championships which will take place on 5 and 6 November in Lido di Ostia (RM).
