- While many youngsters currently under rookie contract see their franchise activate a team option to secure them, this is not the case for RJ Hampton with the Magic. The Orlando franchise has effectively decided not to extend its player for the 2023-24 season, and so he will be a free agent next summer. On the other hand, for Cole Anthony, Chuma Okeke, Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner, the Magic has activated its team option.
