Joking, but in a belligerent mood

Despite the fact that most of the cast members were serious, there was room for humor among the dynamic tests.

So, for example, Andris showed his mentor Kristaps Zutis a joke with a banana during the selection, later eating it with the whole peel to gain strength for the tests on the track. However, later Andris didn’t mind the jokes any more and he used his skating skills to overcome the distance as quickly as possible.

Also, everyone who watched the first episode noticed the bright tiger costume in which the participant Maris was dressed. Perhaps the funny outfit was intended to create a false impression, since Maris practiced karate as a child and is also known for military close combat.

Different talents and life experiences

Participants came to test their abilities in boxing, but many of them have their own occupations, hobbies and life experiences.

The attention of the audience was attracted by the athletic Edgars, who is a Latvian, European and world champion and a record holder in lifting important balls, with 16 years of experience in sports. But is strength enough to compete successfully in the boxing ring?

A wider part of the public will probably recognize the student Kārli Rudolph Kazak, who started his career as a content creator on the channel “Almost finished” on the social networks “TikTok” and “Youtube”. About himself, he says that he is ruthlessly focused and tries to break through in Latvia and the world with his personality. “Boxing Academy” is perceived as an assistant in this situation.

Andris has been participating in the selection for the second year already and has surprised even the mentors of the show with his determination. Although at first it may seem that he is too fragile for a boxing show, his determination and daring deserve nothing but respect and recognition. “Boxing Academy” is seen as an opportunity to challenge yourself, as well as to prove your daring.

At the end of the first series, it became clear which 15 participants will go to the training camp.
