The postponed match between Sparta and Slovácko already has a new date

Sparta’s match with Slovácko was supposed to follow three days after Slovácko’s match in the Conference League. However, the team from Uherské Hradiště only played seven minutes of the home match against Kolín on Thursday due to fog, and the rest of the match took place only today from 1:00 p.m. Slovácko, which lost to the German team 0:1, would have only 51 hours to rest, which is why the LFA moved the match to Letná. According to the rules, there must be at least three days between individual duels.

The match will take place on the same day as another postponed match between Pilsen and Brno. The 4th round duel did not take place at the end of August due to the participation of the defending champions in the final preliminary round of the Champions League. Viktoria would then also not have at least three days to rest. Due to the start of the postponed match between Sparta and Slovácko, the kickoff of the duel in Pilsen has been moved from 18:00 to 17:00.

While in the Czech league the minimum time between matches is three days, in the German top competition, the rules allow starting after 48 hours. Cologne failed to request a postponement of the match with Hoffenheim and will play in the Bundesliga on Sunday from 19:30.
