The best Carolina Marín returns – More Sport

Spanish Carolina Marinfourth favorite of the French Open, qualified for the final after defeating 21-14 and 21-18 in 47 minutes the number 1 in the world and the main favorite of the tournament, the Japanese Akane Yamaguchi.

Marín returns to her privileges as a great champion in Parisafter defeating China’s Han Yue this past Friday, to whom she lost at the Danish Open last week, and now Yamaguchi.

The woman from Huelva came out on top from the start and the initial 7-0 that he endorsed the world number 1 was a clear demonstration of his intentions. Yamaguchi managed to equalize the first set at 12, but Carolina Marín hit the table again to score the set 21-14.

In the second set there was more parity on the scoreboard until the tie at 8, at which point Marín began to unleash his best shots to get ahead on the scoreboard and reach a 16-10 that opened the doors to victory.
