The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Udine, in the context of an extraordinary control of the territory held last night with the use of numerous patrols and which involved the entire province, subjected to control over 200 people and 70 vehicles.
As a result of the extraordinary activities, a 44-year-old was found in possession of about a gram of cocaine, while another 26-year-old Pakistani-born was found hiding 1.6 grams of marijuana in his pockets. Both subjects were reported to the Prefecture of Udine as contractors.
They were also a 22-year-old from Udine who was carrying a baseball bat in the trunk of his car without having justified reason and a 22-year-old foreigner surprised in Piazza Primo Maggio on a bicycle that had been stolen the day before were referred to the Judicial Authority.
Finally, as part of the activities carried out along the main road arteries, three motorists, in Cividale del Friuli, Rive d’Arcano and Sedegliano, were caught driving their cars in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
