The Brazilian player did not contribute assists or goals when Newcastle won 2-1 at home Tottenham. But his presence on the field still makes the opponent pay special attention, to the point of breaking it three times.
Bruno Guimaraes played 89 minutes of the game before being sent off. After the match, he also admitted that he could have chosen not to play because he had stayed up all night waiting for the birth of his son from his beloved wife.
“This is for you,” wrote Bruno Guimaraes on his Twitter account, addressing the fans Newcastle.
“Two days without sleep, could be at home but I always want to be here with you! Thank you for the support and kisses away from Matteo for you! He is Geordie from Brazil,” he continued, including a photo of his beloved baby.
