Serbian volleyball players are the first to enter the finals of the World Championship

On Wednesday in Glivice, Serbian volleyball players were the first to secure a place in the finals of the World Championship.

Serbia won 3-1 (25:21, 25:20, 17:25, 25:23) over the USA volleyball players in the semi-finals.

Team captain Tijana Bošković scored 33 points for the winners, while Bianca Busha added 15 points.

Kelsey Robinson led the USA with 18 points and Andrea Drews added 14 points.

Italy and Brazil will compete in the second semi-final on Thursday, but both medal matches will be played on Saturday.

The championship takes place in the Netherlands and Poland.

In the previous championship in Japan in 2018, Serbia beat Italy in five sets in the final.
