FootballReal Madrid remains boss over boss in group F. The Royal won quite simply 2-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk. Leipzig was the better of Celtic at home.

No Belgians at the kick-off at Real. Eden Hazard was on the bench as usual, Thibaut Courtois was spared back pain. In the absence of compatriots, the Brazilians did it for the Royal. Rodrygo and Vini Jr quickly put the Spaniards on a double lead. Before the break Zubkov softened on a cross from Mykhailichenko (ex-Anderlecht).

Everything stayed the same in the second half. Real held the reins, while Shakhtar never came close to equalizing. Hazard was again glued to the couch for 90 minutes.
