Professional baseball and Softbank have announced a policy to create four teams for the first time among 12 teams from next season.

In addition to the 1st and 2nd teams, SoftBank created the 3rd team in 2011, and has trained players who represent the baseball world, such as ace, Kodai Senga, regular catcher, and Takuya Kai.

On the 10th, Softbank announced its policy to create a 4th army from next season in response to an online interview by Tomohiro Nagai, Director of the Organizational Development Headquarters. It is the first time for 12 teams to set up a 4th army.

Softbank has acquired 19 newcomers, including 14 training players, at last year’s draft meeting.

Nagai said, “I hope we can get the same number of players as last year at this year’s draft meeting. I want to recruit players with special characteristics.”

It’s announced that Ihine Itzua will be the 1st pick in the draft

Tomohiro Nagai, head of professional baseball Softbank’s organization and training headquarters, responded to an online interview on the 10th and announced that he would nominate Ihine Itsua of Aichi no Homare High School in first place at the draft meeting to be held on the 20th of this month.

Headquarters Manager Nagai said, “It’s a large shortstop, and I thought he would become a regular player in the future. He has great potential in both defense and hitting. He was rated number one by the scouts.”
