The race of Archerywithin the CONI Trophy 2022a multi-disciplinary sporting event reserved for Under 14which returns after the stop for Covid-19 after 3 years from the last edition.
The competition, held at the Sienese Archers’ shooting range, was played on 60 arrows at 18 meters. The Piedmont triumphs with 2,227 points, ahead of Veneto 2,192 and Lazio 2,149. In the individual ranking of the men’s Olympic arc first place for Federico Stefanelli with 566 points (Sicily), second place for Edoardo Bertoni (Archers of the Alps) with 550 points and third place for Silvano Volpato with 549 points (Veneto). The other Piedmontese archer in the competition, Pietro Abelli (Archers Varian), closes with 548 points, just off the podium.
The girls of the Olympic arc were classified as follows: first place for Valentina Bartelloni (Comp. Bear Archers) with 566 points, Martina Dotta (G.A.M.) second place with 563 points and third position for Emma Bettin with 562 points (Veneto). Bravo also to Rosario Cedeno, regional coach of the youth sector, who accompanied and supported the boys behind the shooting line. The previous Piedmontese victories, in archery, dated back to the 2018 editions of Rimini and 2017 in Senigallia.
