A great sports day took place today for Peru, since it achieved a total of four gold medals, 2 silver medals and nine more bronze medals.
With these conquests, it was possible to reach seventh place in the medal table with a total of 34 medals so far (8 gold, 8 silver and 18 bronze) at the XII South American Games Asunción 2022.
In the afternoon, after the shower of gold and bronze medals in the morning; In the afternoon, the Taekwondo athlete Camila Cáceres in the 49kg – 57kg category, won the silver medal. Closing the day, the men’s beach soccer team won the bronze medal.
