“I know, I played a lot of derby games. I played in Rome, Dortmund, Schalke, Hamburg and other places in Europe. But, I never came wearing a Tank to the stadium,” said Thomas Doll at a press conference before the match, quoted on Monday (3/10/2022).
“When I first heard about it (wearing armored vehicles to the stadium), it made me very sad. I’m disappointed, because everyone here loves football, wants to see their favorite team play. The family came to the stadium, the kids too.”
