BOLASPORT.COM – Surprising news from the famous football commentary, Valetino Simanjuntak, who decided to step down from commenting on the 2022/2023 Liga 1 match.

The announcement was confirmed by Valentino Simanjuntak through an upload on his social media, Sunday (2/10/2022) night WIB.

This decision was taken by the man who is familiarly called Bung Jebret following the heartbreaking tragedy after the Arema FC vs. Persebaya Surabaya match.

Valentino Simanjuntak himself was actually in charge of being a commentator on the 11th week of the 2022/2023 Liga 1 match.

However, after that, he lost his enthusiasm to guide the match because of the incident that claimed many victims at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang.

“That I, as part of the national football team, feel concerned and sad, which has resulted in my enthusiasm/desire to participate in the BRI Liga 1 2022/2023 program at my lowest point as a host and commentator on football programs,” wrote Valentino Simanjuntak.

“That I submit my resignation as the host and commentator for the BRI Liga 1 2022/2023 program as of October 2, 2022,” he added.

Valentino Simanjuntak said that this attitude is also a form of compassion and empathy for the victims and all national football people.

According to him, football should be a place for everyone to do good things, regardless of rivalry on the field.
