Marianne Vos was unable to grace her return in the field with a victory. The world champion came into action for the first time tonight in the Night of Woerden and was beaten by Kata Blanka Vas. With the men, Lars van der Haar skipped to 6 in a row.

However, in her first cross as world champion, she had to leave the victory in the Night of Woerden to the Hungarian pearl Kata Blanka Vas.
