New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston will not be able to play on Sunday as his team takes on the Minnesota Vikings in a game in London.

On Saturday, head coach Dennis Allen said his pivot was too injured to walk the field. The 28-year-old suffers from back, foot and ankle injuries. He hasn’t been able to practice this week.

In three starts this season, Winston went 1-2. He also completed 63.5% of his stints for 858 yards and four majors.

It is therefore Andy Dalton who will be behind the center of the Saints. The veteran was hired last offseason, after playing eight games with the Dallas Cowboys in 2021. With the Texas club, the redhead completed 63.1% of his passes for 1,515 yards and eight touchdowns. He had also been the victim of nine thefts.

In addition, the Saints will be without wide receiver Michael Thomas. He suffered a foot injury last week in a 22-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
