Jimmy Butler had already created quite a buzz recently, sporting a haircut that ignited social networks. However, the Heat superstar decided to do it again… Obviously, his decision pleased his fans, who sighed with relief.
Last year, Miami failed by a hair to reach the Finals, losing after seven games against the Celtics. It was the second time in three years that Erik Spoelstra’s group reached at least the conference finals stage, proof that the workforce is running well and that the formula adopted by the Floridians works. We can therefore assume that they will be a serious customer again, when the regular season resumes its rights.
Waiting, Jimmy Butler & co. were able to take advantage of the off-season to relax a bit and in the case of the former MIP, to try new looks. During Media Day, he had presented himself in particularly thick dreadlocks, quickly going viral on social media. Some wondered if he was going to sport them in 2022-23, but it was ultimately only temporary. Indeed, he revealed himself that he had returned to a more traditional hairstyle:

Clearly, the former Bulls player felt it wasn’t worth keeping that look for the coming fiscal year. It must be said that beyond the practical side, dreads can be quite embarrassing in a match, his choice of hair was hardly unanimous, including in the Heat locker room. One of his teammates even said that his new appearance ‘stank of shit’ ! An opinion visibly shared by the fans, who were relieved:

A few days after showing up in dreadlocks during Media Day, Jimmy Butler finally decided to drop this rather particular look. Her fanbase will not complain about it, she who was at first skeptical about her haircut.
