Christian Koloko was fined $15,000 for the scrimmage that occurred Saturday between the Toronto Raptors and the Miami Heat.
The Raptors player found himself in the middle of the fray after trying to recover a rebound following a throw from Pascal Siakam. There was a scramble with Caleb Martin of the Heat who will be suspended for one game.
It was judged by the NBA authorities that the latter had been the instigator of the stampede. Rookie Nikola Jovic will also miss Monday’s game between the two teams as he came off the bench during the incident.
The Heat had signed the victory by the mark of 112 to 109.
