In the final, the brand new winner beat the Colombian 1-0 Erika Lassowhich earned him the highest medal.
Before, Vargas had defeated the local Gabriela Narváez in the semifinals and the Venezuelan María Gabriel Giménez in the quarterfinals.
It is worth noting that the national athlete traveled a good part of the world to say present at the Odesur 2022 Games.
Mary Dee Vargas had just competed in the World Cup in Uzbekistanwhere he finished in fifth place, and this Tuesday caused new celebrations in Team Chile.
With gold in women’s Judo, the national team already has 25 gold, 15 silver and 35 bronze medals, ranking third in the medal table.
