Marc Grosjean is the new coach of second division KMSK Deinze | Challenger Pro League

Deinze is very ambitious, but Shiraishi was unable to fulfill those ambitions. Under Calderon, Deinze ended up at the bottom after 10 match days with 8 points, lost 6 times.

“I am obviously very happy to be here in Deinze,” Grosjean said in a comment on the club’s website. “I know there were a lot of people interested in this position, so I’m very honored to have the confidence of the club and its management.”

“I was on the sidelines when the 1B competition was born. So it’s a great opportunity for me to work again at a level that I know very well.”

The coach from Liège was previously head coach at La Louvière, Bergen, Antwerp, Eupen, Union, Virton and Seraing, among others. From January 2020 to January 2022 he worked as a T2 at Seraing. He then went to work for amateur division Stockay-Warfusée.

Grosjean gets Fréderic De Meyer next to him as an assistant. De Meyer was previously Grosjean’s assistant at Union and was also active as T2 with the national teams of Burkina Faso, Guinea and Congo.
