LeBron James enters the Top 10 all-time in 3-pointers

LeBron James hasn’t decided he’s tired of losing yet, but he can still tell himself that he’s still breaking records. Tonight, he just added a line to the All-Time Top 10 list he is in. Not sure that matters a lot to him, but it’s always taken before other records to come later if all goes well.

The Lakers’ season may be as bad as the previous one, but we will always have a man to console ourselves in Los Angeles: LeBron James, of course. With his 2/8 3-pointer last night in his team’s loss to the Clippers, the King entered the Top 10 most prolific 3-point shooters in history, with 2,145 career field goals. He even entered ninth place directly, since he is ahead of Damian Lillard by a small unit, although we can imagine that the Blazer will outrun him very soon. A new Top 10 list in which LeBron James appears, after assists, interceptions, the best players in history and the fastest hair loss.

A new milestone in the career of LeBron James, who owes it for once to his longevity than to his sniper skills, let’s say things. With 34.6%, he is also the member of the top 10 with the lowest percentage. Compared to Steph Curry’s 42.7% or Ray Allen’s 40% it pales in comparison, and you even have to go back to 21st on the list and a certain Kobe Bryant to find a lower success rate. This obviously does not detract from performance. Staying in the big league for so long is not bad enough, and being on top for your twentieth season is almost unheard of. And that could lead to ever more impressive records, including the one everyone is talking about: first place All-Time in scoring. More than 1439 points now, and according to predictions we could see it as early as January.

LeBron James isn’t the best shooter the league has ever seen, but he’s been around for two centuries, so it’s only fitting that he’s at the top of the lists for the number of baskets scored. Come on, a little step to get in the leg before going to get those who really matter?
