Steve Kerr, the head coach of the National Basketball Association (NBA) club Golden State “Warriors”, has finally given his comments about the conflict between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole during one of the training sessions in a conversation with North American journalists.

It was previously reported that Green had an argument with Poole at Warriors training, which led to their separation. The two basketball players engaged in a physical conflict, pushing each other, but then Green decided to resolve the situation by punching Poole. Meanwhile, ESPN columnist Adrian Wojnarowski writes that Poole was not injured after Green’s hit.

“It’s so important to keep things like this within the team. I’ve been in this league for over 30 years and I’ve seen the craziest things. If these things are not expressed outwardly, then it is easy to deal with them,” said Kerr. “As soon as things are leaked, it affects every player and every coach. Now we have to deal with all this and answer the questions. This puts us in a very difficult situation.”

“It’s like having a camera in your family and having a family dispute. Do you really want to discuss this with the whole world? Of course no. You would like to solve it within the family, and that is always the goal,” said the “Warriors” captain. “In 32 years, I’ve seen more than 20 fist fights in training. It shouldn’t get out of our training, but the way it did, then it’s a problem. We have to get better as an organization.”
