Hit a car with a baseball bat: 22-year-old suspect

The Public Security Commission of Crema investigated a 22-year-old Italian citizen, residing in Cologno Monzese (MI), in a state of freedom at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Cremona, for the crimes of beatings, aggravated damage, aggravated threats and port unjustified of objects to offend.

It all happened in via De Gasperi in Crema, when the driver of a car stopped because he was irritated by the fact that the driver behind him had honked his horn to avoid a collision. The man, with a violent attitude, got out of the car and started to insult the other driver by hitting him with slaps. Not satisfied, he returned to his vehicle and after taking out a baseball bat he violently and repeatedly hit the victim’s vehicle causing evident damage to the bodywork. Nearby was an engaged couple who was parked in traffic with their car and, witnessing the attack closely, they invited the man with the baseball bat to give up and leave. The 22-year-old, however, in full anger, after having insulted and threatened them with repercussions if they had not been silent, he quickly walked away.

The offended people filed a complaint with the Police Department of Public Security in Crema, declaring that they had never seen the person responsible for the attacks before. The investigations carried out by the Commissariat, through the viewing of video footage of the city video surveillance and the carrying out of photographic identifications, have made it possible to trace the author, a multiple-judge for crimes against the person and property, and the car used by him, resulting be owned by a car rental agency unrelated to the facts.
