Extra Time about De Ketelaere: “Don’t cheer when your team scores, you have to watch out” | Serie A

Charles De Ketelaere clearly still has to find his way at Milan. He was also unable to make his mark against low-flyer Monza this weekend. Gert Verheyen also noticed that De Ketelaere’s attitude was not right.

“At the end of the match, he still had a great chance, but then he had already given up. Hardly anything worked”, Verheyen saw. “He was not happy with the other goals either. You really have to pay attention to that.”

“When you just step away from a goal from your team and are not happy, I think that is very bad in a team sport. If you have dreamed of playing for Milan, you should not walk around like that.”

Filip Joos joined Verheyen. “He didn’t go under the Curva after the match either. You saw it in those goals. It weighs on him. Now they start talking about his attitude because it’s so clear.”

De Ketelaere has not yet scored for Milan, in terms of assists the counter is at one. “That could have been a bit more, those goals and assists. He also gave a great pass that was not finished. He has that bad luck.”
