Evita National Games: Misiones is ready to live a week of integration, training and sports participation in Mar del Plata

The delegation, which will participate in 47 disciplines of the Juvenile and Adapted modalities, is made up of 900 people. The competition is scheduled from October 24 to 29, with the presence of young people from all over the country.

Misiones is ready to live a new experience at the Evita National Games, in the Youth and Adapted for people with disabilities modality, which in this case will be the first after a two-year break caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. With more than 20,000 young people from all over the country, the national final will be from October 24 to 29 in the city of Mar del Plata, province of Buenos Aires.
As usual, the delegation that will represent the province is made up of athletes who achieved classification thanks to the Missionary Sports Games program, which for several months of the year and through various instances was deployed throughout the province, with the goal of obtaining the finalists.

The missionary team, made up of 900 people, will leave for the Atlantic Coast on Sunday the 23rd at 10 am, from CePARD (Posadas). He will arrive on Monday at the RCT hotel, located in Chapadmalal, where he will stay ready to participate in the opening ceremony -scheduled for the afternoon of that day- and the competitions that, starting on Tuesday, will last throughout the week.
In Mar del Plata, more than 50 sports venues will host the competitions. Among them, the Justo Román athletics track, the swimming pool of the Municipal Sports and Recreation Entity (EMDER), located on the same premises, the CEF No. 1 and several sports clubs and institutions located in different areas of the city that usually They house the disciplines that are part of the Games.
In the Youth modality, Misiones will have a presence in Aquathlon, Chess, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball 3 vs 3, Basketball 5 vs 5, Boxing, Canoeing, Basketball, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Fencing, Soccer 11, Soccer 7, Futsal, Gymnastics Artistic, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Trampoline Gymnastics, Handball, Beach Handball, Hockey 7, Judo, Karate, Olympic Lifting, Olympic Wrestling (Freestyle and Greco-Roman), Swimming, Optimist, Figure Skating, Paddle Ball, Rugby 7, Skate, Taekwondo, Tennis, Table Tennis, Shooting, Archery, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Windsurfing. While in the Adapted Sports modality, he will participate in Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Boccia, Goalball, Powerlifting, Basketball 3 vs 3 and Sitting Volleyball.

Both the Missionary Sports Games and the Evita National Games are more than a competition, they represent an opportunity to enjoy a life experience that contributes to integration, training and sports participation. They mean, at the same time, a platform for the education of values: teamwork, effort, respect for the rival, solidarity, ability to overcome and fair play are promoted in these Games, so that each participant can transfer them to the daily life.
