Euroleague: Sasha Vezenkov MVP of the 2nd day

Author of a performance with 23 points and 14 rebounds in the victory over Zalgiris Kaunas (90-80), Sasha Vezenkov (Olympiakos) is elected MVP of the 2nd day of Euroleague.

Markus Howard, 33 points and author of the equalizer buzzer against Partizan, could well have been acclaimed as MVP of the day. But Sasha Vezenkov’s performance is perhaps even cleaner.

In the victory at home – but behind closed doors – over Zalgiris, the Bulgarian compiled 23 points at 8/14 on shots, 14 rebounds (record), 2 assists, 2 steals and 5 provoked for 37 evaluation.

This is the 5th time he has won this MVP of the day honor, all gleaned since March 2021.
