Dutch Football Association cancels new OneLove action against discrimination after not every captain wore the band last weekend

COC Nederland, the LGBTQIA+ interest group, has a hard time deleting the following OneLove campaign. “That the KNVB gives in to the pressure that has arisen is incomprehensible, who can be against respect?”, a spokesperson responds in the Dutch media.

The COC calls on the football captains who already wore the band to continue to do so and says that it will also address the KNVB about discriminatory chants. “There are rules for stopping matches, but this does not always happen with transphobic or homophobic chants. That has to happen, the KNVB must take action.”
