The Colombian U-17 Women’s National Team continues to write great history in the U-17 Women’s World Cup that takes place in Indiathe Tricolor now convincingly thrashed Tanzania 3-0 and advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament where they will face Nigeria.
Colombia went with everything from the beginning and managed to open the scoring very early. Just at minute 3′ came a great goal by Linda Caicedo who, after a pass from Gabriela Rodríguez, hit the ball before goalkeeper Makau’s bailout.
The Colombians went ahead and about minute 17′ they already won twice after a goal from Yésica Muñoz who headed it to the back of the net from the edge of the area and after a precise cross from the left by Cristina Motta.
Colombia’s superiority increased when Tanzania was left with a player less after Ally was red carded for a very hard foul on Ortegón. It was Gabriela Rodríguez who before the end of the first half made the final 3-0 converting from penalty
