But Charlotte snatched the extension thanks to PJ Washington and Dennis Smith (107-107).

Curry could have given the victory to his people on the wire, but he missed a three-point shot. “Tried to play hero scoring at the buzzer in my hometown“, admitted to the Golden State star

In overtime, Washington and Smith but also Jalen McDaniels, allowed the Hornets to snatch the victory (120-113).

Bucks still untouchable

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday were the great architects of this new success for the 2021 champions by both scoring 34 points, including 30 in the second period for the Greek.

Antetokounmpo is one of two players in Bucks history along with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to have streaked to 30+ points and 10+ rebounds in four consecutive games.

The Greek also grabbed 17 rebounds and the Bucks held off the Hawks despite point guard Trae Young’s 42 points.

Pacers stun Nets

Unlike the Bucks, the Brooklyn Nets continued their very bad series by losing in their room 125-116. The New York franchise concedes a fifth defeat in six games, the fourth in a row.

Rookie Bennedict Mathurin scored 32 points for the Pacers, including six 3-pointers, a career high.

In total, the Pacers made 23 three-pointers, tying the record for most three-pointers against the Nets in a game.

Impressive Thursday against the Nets precisely (41 points), Luka Doncic still shone but could not avoid a bad evening for Dallas, beaten 117 to 111 after extension by Oklahoma City.

Despite the Slovenian’s triple-double (31 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists), the Mavs squandered a 16-point lead in the final five minutes and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (38 points) eventually led the Thunder to success.

Victory also for Sacramento, the first of the season, against Miami (119-113), thanks in particular to 27 points from Kevin Huerter.

After this success of the Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers are now the only NBA franchise not to have won a game yet this season.
