The captain of Cocodrilos de Caracas, Luis Montero, established himself as the most valuable player in the victory achieved by the Saurios 68-79 against Panteras de Miranda at the José Joaquín Papa Carrillo Gymnasium.
After the match, the player spoke with his club’s press team about how important this victory is to be able to demonstrate that they have the qualities to become SPB champions.
“Thank God for the victory. You learn from mistakes and we learned from the first defeat (against Marinos), today was a different day and thank God we got that important victory,” he expressed.

Montero also highlighted that maintaining the intensity of the game by each of the members of the squad was essential to overcome the cats on the court..
“Continuing with the same intensity from beginning to end, I think that was the key to winning this important game. We have to continue with the same intensity because it is not going to be easy at all,” he concluded.
Crocodiles started the regular season with two losses in a row (a forfeit and a loss against Marinos), this victory against Panteras being the first of the year.
