Cervera removes the break from Thursday: “I’m not going to kill you, eh? It is to work more”

He already warned on his first day, “tomorrow it will be serious”, and this morning in El Requexón, Álvaro Cervera got down to work. He brought together the entire squad, including the injured, on field number 4 of the sports city to influence the first concepts that he wants to integrate into the day-to-day life of footballers.

There, at the impromptu meeting, the coach also announced a measure. “I know it was planned for you to rest on Thursday, but we’re not going to. Let’s train. I’m not going to kill you, okay? It’s just that I want to work more time with you”, he explained to the footballers before the ball rolled. Oviedo plays on Monday against Málaga at the Tartiere, 9:00 pm, in the duel that closes the day and the forecast with Bolo was to add a day without training on Thursday. Now the team will work every day until the appointment.

Borja, pending tests

At the end of the initial talk, the injured (Miguelón, Costas, Calvo, Koba and Sangalli) retired to the gym together with Borja Sánchez. The youth squad suffered discomfort in the last league clash and is awaiting physical tests.
