Buenos Aires Games: the Lujanense Delegation arrived in Mar del Plata

With more than 200 local athletes, this Friday representatives of the city traveled to Mar del Plata to play the thirty-first edition of the Buenos Aires Games. This is the largest multi-sport and cultural competition in the country, which will take place from this Saturday to Thursday, October 6.

The delegation, headed by the Director of Sports, Gustavo Santillán, traveled in three buses and a minibus from the Municipal Sports Center. The athletes of the city will stay at the Hotel «Mar del Plata».

To date, more than 20 million people have participated in the history of the Buenos Aires Games. It is a program that aims to promote access to physical activity and cultural expression of society.

In the final stage, the disciplines that will feature athletes from Lujan are: Aquathlon, Athletics, PCD Athletics, Basketball (5), Basketball (3), Artistic Gymnastics, Women’s 11-a-side football, Women’s 5-a-side football, PCD Soccer, Parabadminton, Tennis, Tennis Table, PCD Table Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Hockey, Motor Racing, Canoeing, Taekwondo, Judo, Football Tennis, FIFA Electronic Sports, Padel, Swimming, PCD Swimming and Chess.

In the new edition of the competition, the “School Modality” returns in which young people from Buenos Aires will be able to represent their institution. In addition, the range of disciplines was expanded.

It should be remembered that the commitment made by the Municipality of Luján was key for more than 2,400 people to participate in the local stage this year.
