Beerschot missed the chance to joint second in the Challenger Pro League. At home it didn’t get any further than a draw against Dender. The visitors thus take over the red lantern from Jong Genk.

In the second half, Beerschot succeeded. Sanusi opened the scoring for his team after a difficult evening.
The hardest part seemed to be over, but then suddenly the equalizer fell out of the sky. Marzo gave his crew hope to pass the red lantern.
Dender insisted in the end, although Van Acker’s team had to watch out for the sharp changes of the home team.
It was no longer possible to score. Both teams had to be content with a point. Beerschot misses the opportunity to jump over RWDM, Dender is now the last in the second division.
